Meet Gloria Cobb, a strong and powerful woman who is an inspiration to everyone she meets.

For those with sickle cell, and anyone this disease may affect, Gloria is helping break the sickle cycle. At age 54, Gloria has experienced devastations throughout her life, battling this disease and the pain it brings. But she remains strong and positive, willing to share her story about her life with sickle cell and the help that the Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center will bring.

Gloria represents just one of the 1,600 sickle cell patients in Memphis. Unfortunately, these patients often don't have access to the advanced care they desperately need ... at least not right now.
